Gull Point Boating Site
Area Status: Closed
Wickiup Reservoir is very rich, highly productive, relatively warm water and cooler deep channels generate some of the finest fishing in Central Oregon.
This boating site is within the Gull Point Campground. There is a paved parking area for this site and a toilet. Visitors may not be able to access the water from this in site in autumn due to lower water levels.

Current Conditions: | Summer 2023 - Gull Point Campground and Boat Ramp will remain closed for the 2023 camping season to provide for public safety due to a large volume of identified hazard trees. The campground and boat launch are slated to reopen in 2024 once the hazard trees are removed. Visitors who have made 2023 camping reservations at Gull Point Campground will receive full refunds from Recreation.gov. |

General Information
Directions:From Bend, OR: Travel 26.8 miles south on Highway 97 to Wickiup Junction, then 11 miles west on County Road 43, then continue 4.6 miles west on County Road 42, and finally 3 miles south on County Road 4260.

10 MPH speed limit is enforced for boating on the Deschutes & Davis Creek arms of the Wickiup, all other areas are open.
