North Twin Lake Campground


Area Status: Open

Located next to North Twin Lake, this site offers opportunities for fishing  There is also a little beach at the shallow end of the lake for wading and swimming.

There's an interpretive trail leaving the campground near the water that informs visitors about "dwarf mistletoe" infecting the ponderosa pine trees in the area. For a map of the campground please check here.

There is a boat launch area within this campground.

Current Conditions: 2023 - Please help us preserve the integrity of the access road by driving slowly. The access road has recently been graded and re-graveled.
Operational Hours: Visit Recreation.gov for current operating dates. This campground will be closing at noon on October 22, 2023, and the last night to reserve a campsite is October 21, 2023.

  • Single Campsite Rate: $19/night
  • One vehicle included with reservation – Each Additional Vehicle: $10.00
NOTE: Holders of a Golden Age and Golden Access Passports and Senior and Access Passes are entitled to the following discounts on expanded amenity recreation fees: -  A 50 percent discount on the fee for a single camping unit. This discount does not apply to use of a cabin, lookout, double camping unit, triple camping unit, group camping unit, extra vehicle fees, or any additional camping units and separately charged utility, water, hook-up or day use fees.

Directions:

From Bend, OR: Travel 26.8 miles south on Highway 97 to Wickiup Junction, then 11.0 miles west on County Road 43, then continue 4.6 miles west on County Road 42, and finally 0.2 miles south on County Road 4260.
