Little Cove Boat-In Campground is 100% RESERVATION ONLY. Reservations can be made up to one day in advance of arrival date.

Little Cove is one of the three boat-in only campgrounds on the north side of Cultus Lake. If you like to camp in a very rustic setting next to the water then this is the campground for you.

WHERE TO PARK: There is a parking area specifically designated for boat-in campground use located within Cultus Lake Campground. Visitors with reservations at one of the three boat-in campgrounds can launch their boats at the Cultus Lake Day Use boat ramp, but must park in the designated boat-in camping parking lot. A recreation pass is NOT required for this lot.

Current Conditions: 2023 Season - The Forest Service conducts in-depth hazard tree inspections of developed recreation facilities on a regular interval. Little Cove Boat-In Campground will close on September 10, 2023, to provide time to conduct inspections and remove identified hazard trees. Closing this facility a few weeks early this fall will minimize impacts to opening dates in spring 2024.
Operational Hours: Visit Recreation.gov for current operating dates. This campground will be closing at noon on September 10, 2023, and the last night to reserve a campsite is September 9, 2023.

  • One vehicle included with reservation – Each Additional Vehicle: $10.00
NOTE: Holders of a Golden Age and Golden Access Passports and Senior and Access Passes are entitled to the following discounts on expanded amenity recreation fees: -  A 50 percent discount on the fee for a single camping unit. This discount does not apply to use of a cabin, lookout, double camping unit, triple camping unit, group camping unit, extra vehicle fees, or any additional camping units and separately charged utility, water, hook-up or day use fees.

From Bend, OR: Travel 46.0 miles southwest on Cascade Lakes Hwy (46), then west on Forest Road 4635 for 2 miles, then boat over to the north shore of the lake or hike in.
