Obsidian Flow Trail

  

This one-mile interpretive trail climbs up and onto an impressive lava flow of obsidian (black glass) and pumice.  This trail is located within the Newberry National Volcanic Monument.

Fees $5/vehicle/day – On site payment not available
Restrictions: Collecting Obsidian or other material from any site on Newberry National Volcanic Monument is PROHIBITED. Penalty: up to $5oo fine or up to six months in proson or both. Horses & mountain bikes prohibited.
Passes: Recreation Passes may be used as a form of fee payment
