Cultus Lake Boating Site

Area Status: Open

Cultus Lake is a natural glacier-formed lake.  This is a recreational lake and is popular for water skiing, sailing, jet skiing, and boating.

There is a large paved parking area with a dock and two boat ramps which is adjacent to the Cultus Lake Campground. There are also picnic tables and a toilet at this site.

Recreation Fee Site: Parking at this site requires a recreation pass. Passes are available at this site, but can also be purchased from Forest Service offices or vendors. Please check here for more information about recreation passes and where they can be purchased.

Reservations: Beginning summer 2020, the boat-in campgrounds on Cultus Lake: Little Cove, Big Cove and West Cultus Campgrounds are by reservation only. Reservations are available on www.recreation.gov.

From Bend, OR: Travel 46 miles southwest on Cascade Lakes Highway (46), then west on Forest Road 4635 for 2 miles.
