Red Canyon Bicycle Trailhead

Red Canyon Bicycle Trail #33016 parallels Highway 12 and traverses throught Red Canyon. It winds through stands of ponderosa pines and ends on the Paunsagunt Plateau. This trail can be used to access the Grand View Trail and Coyote Hollow Road to access the Thunder Mountain Trail.

General Information

Directions:

If starting the trail at the bottom, you can access the trail from The Thunder Mountain Trailhead.  Drive east 3 miles from US 89 on SR12, Thunder Mountain TH  is the first trailhead on your right.  If starting the bike trail near the East Fork Road, continue east on SR12 for approximately 11 miles.  The East Fork Road is on the right hand side of the road.  


Parking:
  • There are two large parking areas available on this trail; one at the west trailhead and one in the middle.
