Sather Lake Recreation Area

Enjoy the lake view from your spacious campsite, or enjoy fishing for Bass, Crappie, or Trout off the floating pier located in the day use loop.

Operational Hours: Open year round. Limited services before Memorial Day and after Labor Day.
Reservations: First-come, first-served. No reservations are accepted.

Fees: $10 per night. Payments can be placed in the fee tube located at the entrance to the campground; payments must be made immediately upon selecting a site.
Restrictions: Stay limit of 14 consecutive days. Pack-it-in, pack-it-out.

Water: Potable water from a hand pump
Restroom: Accessible, unisex vault toilet

Directions:

Located 26 miles southwest of Watford City, ND or 22 miles northeast of Sidney, MT off of Highway 68.


Parking:

Average parking pad is 16 feet wide and 50 feet long (60 foot max length). A day-use parking lot is located near the fishing pier.

Campground Camping
