MIDDLE BOX CREEK TRAILHEAD

Middle Box Creek Trailhead is located along FR068 in a high elevation (9,000 feet) meadow with aspen trees for shade. Facilities include parking and a vault restroom. Dispersed camping, hunting, wildlife viewing, and OHV riding on designated routes is available. Box Creek reservoir provides a fishing opportunity. Please pack-out what you pack-in. Camping stay limit is 16 days.

General Information

Directions:

Middle Box Creek Trailhead is located about 10 miles west of Greenwich Utah, along FR068. From Greenwich take UT-62 north for 0.5 miles and turn left (west) onto the lower Box Creek Road (FR069) for 8.5 miles. Turn left on FR068 for 1.2 miles. The trailhead will be on the right.

The Fishlake National Forest has completed a route designation process as shown on the official Motor Vehicle Use Map (MVUM) dated 2013.

The State of Utah does not have reciprocity ATV/OHV licensing agreement with other states. To purchase a Non-Resident OHV Permit visit the Utah Department of Natural Resources website.
