Monrovian Trailhead is located along Forest Road 078 and has a gravel parking lot, unloading ramp, hitching rail, information kiosk, and vault restroom. Popular activities include hiking, horseback riding, fishing, viewing scenery, and OHV riding on designated routes. Be cautious since rattle snakes can be found in the canyon. Please pack-out what you pack-in.

Directions:

Monrovian Trailhead is about 4 miles southeast from Monroe Utah. From the junction of Main Street and Center Street in Monroe, head south on main Street for 0.8 miles. Follow the road as it turns left and becomes the Monroe Canyon Road (FR078) for 3 miles.

The Fishlake National Forest has completed a route designation process as shown on the official Motor Vehicle Use Map (MVUM) dated August 2007.

The State of Utah does not have reciprocity ATV/OHV licensing agreement with other states. To purchase a Non-Resident OHV Permit visit the Utah Department of Natural Resources website.
