The Tally- Ashley Trail is 20.0 miles long. It begins at Road #913 Near Tally Lake Campground and ends at Ashley Mtn. This trail is connected to several other district trails and is the longest trail on the district. The trail is open to both motorized and non motorized uses.

General Information
Directions: Located approximately 17 miles from Whitefish, this trail begins on Forest Service Rd #913 along the south shore of Tally Lake and ends at Ashley Peak. Take Hwy 93 west out of Whitefish, turn onto Twin Bridges Road, then turn onto Farm to Market Road, and then turn onto FS RD 913 go 6.2 miles. Small hiker sign marks the trail. There is very limited parking along FS #913. In the pull-outs on the road there is room for 2-3 vehicles.
