The Hemlock Lake trail #607 is 4.2 miles long and climbs about 1,100 feet. It begins at the end of Forest Service Road #9576 and ends at the junction with the Hemlock Peak trail #515 which then leads to North Hemlock Lake and Hemlock Point. It is 3.7 miles to Hemlock Lake. The trail is open for the following uses: hiking and horseback riding. Mountain biking is allowed for 1.8 miles up to the Wilderness boundary.  Mountain biking is not allowed after this point.

Directions:

From Highway 83 south of mile marker 38, turn west onto Kraft Creek Rd also called Forest Service Road #561 and drive 6.5 miles to Rd #9576. Turn right, crossing over the bridge and driving past the trailhead to the right. Continue up a rocky road for about 1 mile to the trailhead.
