Lee Thomas Trailhead

Provides access to: Deadhorse Rim Trail #139, Dead Cow Trail #141, and Lakes Trail #140 systems.
From the Lee Thomas trailhead, you can access the Dead Cow Trail #141 or trek along the Deadhorse Rim Trail #139 for six miles to Dead Horse Lake. If you want an expanded adventure, hike or ride another mile to Campbell Lake. Both lakes are beautiful high mountain lakes perfect for fishing, swimming or wading, and boating.
This trailhead is located one hour 30 minutes southwest of Paisley, Oregon one mile east of the Lee Thomas Campground. At 6300 feet in elevation, the trail is open to hikers, horseback riding, and mountain biking.
This trailhead offers two vaulted toilets and dispersed camping. There is no potable water. Visitors need to pack plenty of water. Trail and parking area maintained during open season.

Directions:From Bly, Oregon:
Lee Thomas Trailhead is located one hour 35 minutes northeast of Bly, OR. From Bly, OR take Oregon Highway 140 east toward Lakeview, Oregon. Turn left on Campbell Road, then make a right on Forest Service (FS) Road 34. Continue northeast on FS Road 34. Then turn left on FS Road 3372. Continue northwest on FS Road 3372, then turn right on FS Road 3411 and follow to trailhead located on the left.
From Paisley, Oregon:
Lee Thomas Trailhead is located one hour 30 minutes southwest of Paisley, OR. From Paisley, OR take Highway 31 north toward Silver Lake, Oregon turn left on County Highway 2-08, Mill Street, continuing right onto Forest Service (FS) Road 3315. Follow FS Road 3315 west. Turn left on FS Road 28, then right on FS Road 3411 to the trailhead located on the left.
