Varney Creek Trail

The Varney Creek trail is 4.4 miles long. It begins at Varney Creek Trailhead and travels through Mountain Lakes Wilderness to meet Mountain Lakes Loop Trail 3727. Mountain Lakes Loop Trail highlights Lake Como, Eb and Zeb Lakes, and Lake Harriet within the Wilderness. Fishing and swimming opportunities are plentiful at these mountain lakes. 

The trail is open for the following uses: Hiking, Horseback Riding.

Varney Creek Trailhead

Varney Creek Trailhead is 40 minutes northwest of Klamath Falls, OR.

From Klamath Falls, OR take Oregon Highway 140 west toward Medford, Oregon, and turn left onto Forest Service (FS) Road 3637 (Varney  Creek Sign) then take another left onto FS Road 3664. The trailhead is located at the end of the road.
