Provides access to: June Lake Trail #216B. June Lake Trail accesses the Loowit Trail #216 south of Mount St Helens. Small parking lot.

Current Conditions: 11/21/2023: The June Lake trail is inaccessible due to a mudslide on Forest Road 83. Winter closure begins December 1st or with significant snowfall. You can park at Marble Mountain and use the Pine Martin Trail to access June Lake. Contact the Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument for more info at 360-449-7800.

General Information

Directions:

From Cougar, WA drive east for about 13 miles on State Route 503. Take a left on Forest Road 83 and travel approximately 7 miles to the turn off to June Lake Trailhead. Turn left and follow road to the parking area.

During the winter and early spring  Forest Road 83 is gated at the Sno-Park.
