Forest Road 90

Forest Road 90 is a designated Federal Forest Highway and accesses residences along Swift Reservoir and beyond. It is the main east-west artery in the center on the Gifford Pinchot.

Important Forest sites along FR 90 include Pine Creek Information Center, Lewis River Falls, Twin Falls Campground, Ollalie and Takhlakh lakes and Mt. Adams Wilderness Area.

FR 90 is plowed to Pine Creek in winter and is passable the rest of the way as snow melts in late spring and early summer.

Current Conditions: 12/04/2018: Rd. 90 is closed at the Curley Cr. Rd. intersection heading East for Winter wildlife protection Dec. 1 - March 31. ALERT: High clearance vehicles (trucks/SUV's or cars with at least 8" of clearance) may use Road 90 from the West traveling to Lower Falls Rec. Area. For trailers & lower clearance passenger cars, you will need to go through Trout Lake and take Rd. 23 North of Trout Lake to Rd. 90 coming from the East. Be aware this section has plenty of potholes.
