Trail #79 Coyote

This trail is open to hiker and horse use only.

Coyote Trail is within Goat Rocks Wilderness and begins on the Packwood Lake Trail #78 below Lost Lake and climbs southeast over semi-open terrain to Packwood Saddle (at mile 5.5). The trail then continues over scenic open terrain with excellent views, until ending on the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail #2000 at Elk Pass.

Alert: Steep with exposures. Pack stock is not recommended past Beaver Bill Creek.
