Trail #293 High Bridge

This trail is open to motorcycles, hikers, horses and bicycles.
This trail begins on Forest Road 29, passes a large beaver pond, and ends on the Tongue Mountain Trail #294.
The CCC built the trail while falling snags to reduce fire danger in the area in 1933 and 1934. The snags were what was left of the forest after the Cispus fires of 1902 and 1918 which burned a total of 96,000 acres. Sections of this trail are steep.

General Information
Directions:From Randle, WA Head south on WA-131 S for 1 mile and go right on Forest Road 23 (Cispus) and follow for 8 miles. Then go right on Cispus Road and follow for about a mile and go left on Forest Road 29. Follow Forest Road 29 for about 2.9 miles to the trailhead.
