Trail #43 Jug Lake

This trail is open to hiker and horse use only.

This trail begins at Cowlitz Trail #44 within William O. Douglas Wilderness and ends a short distance past Frying Pan Lake, at the junction with the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail #2000.  It accesses Jug Lake, Little Snow Lake, and Frying Pan Lake.

From the Cowlitz Trail #44 the Jug Lake Trail climbs through subalpine terrain for about a mile to meet Judkin Trail #47 which accesses Jug Lake. From here #43 heads east to Snow and Frying Pan Lake and then north to meet the Pacific Crest Trail #2000.
