This trail is open to hikers, horses and bicycles.
This trail climbs steeply through a timber harvest area for about 1 mile and continues to climb until its junction with the Purcell Mountain Trail #284. It continues to the summit of Purcell Mountain, the site of a former fire lookout. Mountain beavers have been digging tunnels in the area, making the trail hazardous for stock travel. This trail is not recommended for bicycles or horses.

General Information
Directions:From Randle, WA head east for 6 miles on Highway 12 to the old highway (unmarked) on the left. Turn left (north) and drive about 1 mile to Forest Road 63. Turn left and drive north to Forest Road 6310. Stay left on Forest Road 6310. The trailhead will be on the right in less than a mile.
