Trail #123 South Point Lookout
A map depicting trails in the Klickitat area within the Cowlitz Valley Ranger District. Sites include: Cispus Lookout Trail #127, Dry Creek Trail #125, Klickitat Loop Trail #7A , Klickitat Trail #7, Pompey Peak Trail #128, and South Point Lookout Trail #123.
This trail is open to hiker, horse and bicycle use.
This trail begins on Forest Road 20 and climbs east entering an old open burn area at the former lookout site on South Point (5,980' elevation). Limited trailhead space.

General Information
Directions:From Packwood, Washington travel west on State Highway 12 for 3.5 miles and turn left on Forest Road 20. Follow Forest Road 20 for 4.8 miles and arrive at the trail on your left.
