Trail #81 Upper Lake Creek

This trail is open to hiker and horse use only.

This trail begins on Packwood Lake Trail #78 at the lake and follows the lakeshore until it comes to Upper Lake Creek. Leaving Packwood Lake, the trail follows Upper Lake Creek at an even grade through dense forest for 4 miles. The trail then climbs steeply to join Coyote Trail #79 at the Packwood Saddle. Features include oldgrowth cedar, Packwood Lake and views. This trail is within Goat Rocks Wilderness.
