This trail climbs steadily from Quartz Creek Trail #5 and ends with its junction to the Boundary Trail #1.

This 3 mile trail climbs steadily from Quartz Creek Trail #5 through the forested drainage of French Creek. Past fire history reveals itself in patches of young trees among twisted shapes of fire-killed snags. About 1 mile north of the Quartz Creek Trail junction is a good campsite near French Creek, west of the trail. The junction with Boundary Trail #1 is reached in 2.6 miles. The northern end of the trail follows a portion of decommissioned Forest Road 29 to its junction with the Boundary Trail.
