This Trail Open to Hikers Only.
This is a primitive short cut trail between Trapper Creek Trail #192 and Observation Trail #132 within Indian Heaven Wilderness.
Alert: This trail is within the Big Hollow Fire (2020) burned area. Hikers travel at their own risk. Please review safety tips for burned areas.

General Information
Directions:Shortcut Trail is accessed from Observation Trail.
From Carson, Washington travel north on Wind River Highway to the Forest Boundry where it becomes Forest Road 30. Continue north on Forest Road 30 to just past the Fish Hatchery where Forest Road 30 forms a V with Forest Road 3065. At this V stay to the right on Forest Road 30 and drive to Forest Road 64 about 2 miles. Turn left on to Forest Road 64 and continue about 5 miles to the intersection where 4 roads meet. Stay more or less straight to get on Forest Road 58. Continue on Forest Raod 58 to the trailhead for Observation Trail and hike in to reach Shortcut Trail.
