Trail #232 Winds of Change

The Winds of Change Trail provides an educational walk near Coldwater Science and Learning Center. Trail users are guided by interpretive displays illustrating the effects of the May 18, 1980 lateral blast on plant and animal life. The trail provides views of Mount St. Helens and the North Fork Toutle River. Wildflowers, shrubs, and young trees flourish along the path.
