Trail #213 Green River
This trail is open to hikers, horses and bicycles.
The section of trail beginning on Road 2612.036 to the west travels a short distance through the blown down forest, takes you through old-growth forest, and enters Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument. The trail begins at 2,560 feet elevation then drops to 1,880 feet as it meanders along the Green River, ending on Weyerhaeuser Road 2500. A new connection ties this trail in with the Strawberry Mountain Trail #220. The trail crosses Road 26 near Ryan Lake and climbs to a junction with Trail #220. Expect grades up to 30 percent on this 3-mile section.
Special Conditions: Muddy in the spring and fall.

General Information
Directions:You can get to this trail from Weyerhaeuser Road 2500 from the west end or Green River Horse Camp. 08/15/2018: From Randle, WA drive south on Forest Service Road 25 to Forest Service road 99. Follow 99 to Forest Road 26 and take it north to Ryan Lake. Access from Forest Road 26 is closed by a washout 8 miles in on the north section, so access is via Forest Road 99.
You can not access it from the Goat Mountain Trailhead due to Port Blakely Timber Company gate closure for fire season on the 2750.
