Sno-Park: Skate Creek
In a mature and varied forest setting interspersed with mountain meadows and geographic features, this park is near Mt. Rainier and surrounding wilderness.

| Permit Info: | Washington State Sno-Park Permit is required for each vehicle December 1 to March 31. Sno-Park permits are available to purchase online and also at Ashford Valley Grocery in Ashford, Trout Lake Grocery in Trout Lake and the Chelatchie Prairie General Store in Amboy. Sno-park permits help pay for snow removal, trail grooming, sanitation facilities, mapping, trail signs, safety education, enforcement and program administration. |

General Information
Directions:From Packwood, WA Head go east on Highway US-12 for 0.3 miles. Then go left on Skate Creek Road/Forest Road 52 and drive about 4.3 miles to the entrance to the Sno-park at the Forest Road 47/52 junction.
Accessibility:
This site is in a remote forest setting. The parking area is flat, but terrain will be difficult, especially in winter.
