Sno-Park: Wakepish
In a mature and varied forest setting, this park is near Mount St. Helens and Forest Road 99. Here visitors will find access to sweeping vistas, remote forest lakes, high-mountain elevations.
A groomed route south of the Sno-Park connects to a variety of snow-covered roads on the north and south sides of Elk Pass. This area offers many viewing opportunities of Mount St. Helens.

Permit Info: | Washington State Sno-Park Permit is required for each vehicle December 1 to March 31. Sno-Park permits are available to purchase online and also at Ashford Valley Grocery in Ashford, Trout Lake Grocery in Trout Lake and the Chelatchie Prairie General Store in Amboy. Sno-park permits help pay for snow removal, trail grooming, sanitation facilities, mapping, trail signs, safety education, enforcement and program administration. |

General Information
Directions:From Randle, Washington head south on Hwy 131 (Cispus Road) for 2.7 miles to Forest Road 25. Continue on Forest Road 25 for 17 miles to its junction with Forest Road 99. The Sno-Park is 1/8 mile up Forest Road 99.
Both roads are paved and are plowed by the Forest Service. The Sno-Park is 19 miles from Randle, Washington.
Note: Forest Road 99 is gated & closed to wheeled-vehicle traffic beyond the Sno-Park. Forest Road 25 is also closed to wheeled-vehicle traffic beyond the junction with Forest Road 99.
Accessibility:
This site is in a remote forest setting. The parking area is flat, but terrain will be difficult, especially in winter.
