A remote campground on the northeast edge of the Gila Wilderness located south of New Mexico Hwy 59 (Beaverhead Road). High clearance vehicles are recommended.

Directions:This campground is about 90 miles from Truth or Consequences. Take State Route 181 north, then left on 59 West and turn at Trail # 773

Campground Camping
Six (6) sites. There are picnic tables and fire rings at all six (6) sites.
RV Camping
Wolf Hollow is open to both tent camping and RV camping. Maximum RV size is 30'.
Day Hiking
The campground also serves as the trailhead for the 4.6 mile (one way) Wolf Hollow - Trail #773 to Black Mountain.

Backpacking
The campground also serves as the trailhead for the 4.6 mile (one way) Wolf Hollow - Trail #773 to Black Mountain. At Black Mountain, the Wolf Hollow Trail accesses several other trails providing wider trip opportunities within the northeast portion of the Gila Wilderness.
