Gwynn Tank Campground

Area Status: Open

The Gwynn Tank Campground is a flat site in an open ponderosa meadow. Additionally, Gwynn Tank Campground is located adjacent to its namesake Gwynn Tank pond. The pond is historically stocked for recreational fishing and is popular for recreational fishing.

Forest Road 141 is the major access to this campground which is approximately 30 miles southeast of the village of Reserve, NM.

Campground Camping

There are seven (7) sites with picnic tables and grills. No water is available. No trash pickup. Pack it in and Pack it out.

RV Camping

There are three (3) pull-through sites for self-contained campers. We do not recommend trailers longer than 28'.

Lake and Pond Fishing

The Gwynn Tank Pond is stocked by NM Department of Game and Fish.
