Weir & Johnson Campground - Grand Valley RD

At 10,500-foot elevation. 11 campsites. Maximum spur length is 33 ft. The campground is a single loop located between the Weir & Johnson and Sackett Reservoirs. The trees are primarily Engelmann spruce. Some sites overlook one or the other reservoir.
The mosquitoes are plentiful; repellent is recommended.

General Information
Directions:From Collbran, CO, at "Access Grand Mesa" sign, take County Road 58 south 1.9 miles. Turn left at the "T" for 5.8 miles to Forest Road #521. Note: County Road 58 Road becomes County Road 59 Road. Continue straight on Forest Road #521 for about 7.2 miles to junction with Forest Road #126. Turn left at Weir and Johnson Campground sign and go 2.8 miles to the campground.
