Cottonwood Lake Campground - Grand Valley RD
Area Status: Closed

Near town of Collbran, CO at an elevation of 10,100 feet. Hiking, ATV trails, fishing and jeep roads are nearby. One of the last campgrounds to open being on the North side of Crag Crest ridge and shaded. There are 36 sites, almost all are shaded. Maximum spur length - 42 ft.

If still occupying a campsite after 2 p.m., the $18 fee for per night camping unit will apply, less any day use fees already paid. |

General Information
Directions:From Collbran, Colorado, at "Access Grand Mesa" sign, take 58.5 Road. south1.9 miles to "T" intersection. Turn left, staying on 58.5 Road, (which becomes 59 Road.), and go 5.8 miles to Forest Rd. 121. Travel south for about 7 miles Forest Road 121 past Bonham-Wells Reservoir and then turn right onto Forest Road 257 and travel about another 5 miles to the campground. Directions to this campground can be tricky. Please call for more information.
