Gold Creek #427
The Gold Creek Trail #427 begins at Union Park Road, FSR #752 and ends at Gold Creek Road, FSR #771. This trail travels through the eastern section of the Fossil Ridge Recreation Area. It heads south into the headwaters of Lottis Creek before climbing steadily paralleling the creek for approximately 2 miles. Then it continues to climb the steep slope of the gulch and on up to Shaw Ridge where it intersects the Cameron Gulch Trail #549. The Gold Creek Trail turns left at this junction and begins a steep descent from the ridge into the Gold Creek drainage. At this point the trail parallels Gold Creek for the final 2 miles to its end at Gold Creek Road.
