Hornet Spur #131.1A

  

The Hornet Spur Trail #131.1A begins at Forest Service Road #549, State Draw Road, and ends at an intersection with the Aspen Trail #125. The combination on the Hornet Trail #131, Hornet Spur Trail #131.1A and Aspen Trail #125 make a nice route. The trial starts out heading north and in 0.4 miles it intersects the Hornet Trail #131. It then turns south and meets FSR #565, Paradox #5 Road, after 0.9 miles. It follows FSR #565 for 0.15 miles before turning west and intersecting the Aspen Trail.

Directions:

From Montrose: Travel west on Highway 90 for approximately 23.1 miles to the intersection with Forest Service Road #549, State Draw Road, approximately 0.1 miles past FSR #402, South Divide Road. Turn south on FSR #549 and continue for approximately 1 miles. The trail begins on the east side of the road across from the Red Canyon Trail #118.
