High #515

The High Trail #515 is a popular ATV route. The trail travels through aspen, spruce, fir and meadows along the Plateau Creek drainage on the east side of Plateau Creek.  After it crosses the creek, it ascends out of the drainage to the west at a steep grade which offers scenic views of the Plateau Creek drainage.  As the trail crosses an open meadow bordered by spruce/fir, Leon Peak becomes visible to the southwest. It then descends into the Leon Creek drainage which offers scenic views of Leon Creek. The High Trail #515 ends at the intersection with Park Creek Road, FSR #262.
