Forest Fence #128


The Forest Fence Trail #128 begins at Forest Service Road #402, South Divide Road, and ends at Forest Service Road #562, Dented Door Spring Road. After the first mile, the trail descends into the East Fork Spring Creek drainage and in about 1.5 miles it crosses FSR #532, Sawdust Pile Road. It continues north and then west through aspen and spruce/fir, coming to an end at FSR #562 after another 4.5 miles.

Directions:

From Montrose: Travel west on Highway 90 for approximately 23 miles to the intersection with Forest Service Road #402, Divide Road. Turn south on FSR #402 and continue for approximately 13.8 miles to where the trail begins on the north side of the road.
