Green Pastures Recreation Area
This recreation site includes a small lake, the original CCC built bathhouse and picnic shelter, and hiking trails.
The recreation area was built in the 1930s at the request of the Clifton Forge Chapter of the NAACP and was originally designated for African American visitors during segregation in the United States.

General Information
Directions:From I-64: Take exit 35, turn right onto Virginia State Route 269 (old route 60), and travel approximately 2 miles. Turn left into the Longdale Recreation Area.
