Brandywine Recreation Area

  

Located on the 10-acre Brandywine Lake, this wooded recreation area affords access to multiple hiking and mountain biking trails, a swimming beach, and a campground with an onsite host.

Operational Hours: 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m
Reservations: ***This campground operates on a first-come-first-serve basis***
Fees Day use is $5 per vehicle for up to 8 passengers and $1 per person for vans and buses carrying more than 8 passengers and walk-ins. $18 per campsite per night during the primary recreation season and $8 per campsite per night during the winter season. 
Open Season: Mid May to mid November
Restrictions: Not suitable for large RVs. Dump station is available. Showers available for Brandywine campers only.

Water: Drinking water available
Restroom: Bath houses have hot showers and flush toilets

General Information

Directions: From Harrisonburg, VA: Take Route 33 West, 26 miles into West Virginia. The recreation area is 4.2 miles West of the Virginia-West Virginia state line and about 2 miles East of the town of Brandywine, WV.
