Brandywine Recreation Area

  

Residing on the 10 acre Brandywine Lake, this wooded recreation area affords access to multiple hiking and mountain biking trails, a swimming beach, and a campground with an onsite host.

Reservations: ***This campground operates on a first-come-first-serve basis***
Fees Day use: $5.00 per walk-in or vehicle. Camping: $16.00 per site per night.
Open Season: Mid May to mid November
Restrictions: Not suitable for large RVs. Dump station is available. Showers available for Brandywine campers only.

Restroom: Bath houses have hot showers and flush toilets

General Information

Directions: From Harrisonburg, VA: Take Route 33 West, 26 miles into West Virginia. The recreation area is 4.2 miles West of the Virginia-West Virginia state line and about 2 miles East of the town of Brandywine, WV.
