Ridge Interpretive Trail

Area Status: Not Cleared

Interpretive trails are trails with information signs or brochures identifying the species present and/or explaining the ecology of the site. Hikers can pick up a brochure from the St. Ignace Ranger Station or at the Brevoort Lake campground. The brochure contains an identification and description for different attributes or segments along the trail that correspond to trail makers. The trail is located within the Brevoort Lake Campground on ancient Lake Michigan sand dunes. Some easy to moderate climbing and descending are required.
