Waboose Cross-Country Ski Trail
Waboose Cross-Country Ski Trail is a short (1.5 mile) classic-style ski trail suitable for beginners to intermediate skiers.
It is popular among locals for both exercise and leisure skiing.
Waboose is the Native American Ojibwe word for rabbit. You will notice rabbit tracks crisscrossing the trail as well as other small wildlife species.

Ski Condition Report: Waboose Ski Trail will not be groomed this season nor in the future, unless a volunteer or group decides to maintain it. If you or your group would like to adopt a ski trail, please contact the St. Ignace Ranger Station at 906-643-7900.

General Information
Directions:From the intersection of M-28 and I-75 drive 15.6 miles west on M-28 to Ranger Road (FH 87). Turn right (north) and drive 2.5 miles on Ranger Road to the trailhead.
