Visitors seeking National Forest visitor information are served at the Pictured Rocks Cruises Information Center, located at the corner of M-28 and Elm Avenue in downtown Munising. Beginning in 2018, this new public/private partnership provides convenient one-stop shopping for the recreating public. The US Forest Service's Munising Ranger District Office primarily handles business and management related customers. For office hours visit https://www.fs.usda.gov/detail/hiawatha/about-forest/offices. The grounds are also home to a native plants garden visible during the snow-free season.
