Petes Lake Campground Site Map

Pete`s Lake campground is surrounded by many lakes and offers much in the way of camping, hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, boating, and picnicking. All roads are black topped (perfect for bike riding). The Campground boasts a large Day Use Area with two picnic areas, a swimming beach, and an accessible fishing pier. Link to Campground Map

Current Conditions: Pier is inaccessible due to high water. 
Reservations: Some of the sites at Petes Lake are reservable. Reservations for all of our campgrounds are made on our national recreation reservation system. Fees Standard Non Electric Site Fees range from $20 to $22 per night. This campground offers group sites for $40 per night. Federal Recreation Passes (Golden/America the Beautiful) are accepted. Firewood for sale.

General Information

Directions:

From Munising travel east to the intersection of M-28 and Forest Highway 13. Turn right on H-13 and drive south 10.4 miles to FR 2173. Turn left (east) on FR 2173 and drive 0.4 mile to the campground road. Turn right (south) and drive to Pete's Lake Campground.

The hiking enthusiast will find this campground an excellent home base for the 9 mile loop of Bruno's Run Hiking/Biking Trail as it winds its way through the lakes of the area and along the Indian River.
