General Information
Directions: From Columbus: Travel west on IN 46 for 13 miles to IN 135 south. Take SR 135 south, 9 miles to Story. Veer off SR 135 at the Story Inn (this is Elkinsville Road, but it is unmarked). Travel 2.7 miles and pass a gravel road on your right. Take the left bend in the road and cross a bridge. Go 0.3 miles then turn left into the parking area. This newly constructed parking area was paid for with trail access fees. Mountain Biking
This 8.6 mile trail is designated for hiking, horse riding and mountain biking. The trail offers scenic views from the ridge-top trail. It requires a moderate skill level with lots of short climbs. The trail is a bit of a rollercoaster of ups and downs and most is single-track. It may be the most popular mountain bike trail on the Forest.
