Peavine Creek Campground

Situated on the eastern side of the Toquima Mountain Range in the Monitor Valley.  Fishing in Pine Creek.  Access to other sites via Monitor Valley.

Operational Hours: Mid May - late October, as weather and conditions allow.
Reservations: No reservations needed, first come, first serve.

  • Camping trailer: 11 Unpaved RV Sites (up to 35 feet)
  • Picnic tables
  • Tent camping: 11 Tent Camping Sites, 1 Group Site (20-50 people)
  • Toilets: 2 Vault Toilets (Open year round, but only maintained during prime season.)

Open Season: Mid-May - Late October

Restrictions:
  • Dogs must be on a leash at campground.                        
  • Weed free certified hay required.

General Information

Directions:

To access the campground from Austin:

1. Follow US 50 East to the SR 376 junction.

2. Turn right onto SR 376 and continue south for approximately 60 miles to the Peavine Campground turnoff.

3. Turn right and continue west for approximately nine miles to the campground.

To access the campground from Tonopah:

1. Follow US 6 East to the SR 376 junction.

2. Turn left and continue north for approximately 40 miles to the Peavine Campground turnoff.

3. Turn left and continue west for approximately nine miles to the campground.
