Desert Creek Campground

Desert Creek Campground is a remote camping experience in Nevada, located on Desert Creek. Partial shade provided in campground by Jeffrey and Lodgepole pines. Fishing in Desert Creek for stocked rainbow, brown and brook trout. ATV users can enjoy miles of backroads in this area.  No trash Service -pack out your trash. Fishing, hiking, and off-highway vehicle opportunities. Four wheel drive not needed, but creek crossings not recommended in early or late summer season.

General Information

Directions:

1. From Highway 395 south in Bridgeport, drive 11 miles on highway 182 (Highway 182 will become Highway 338 in Nevada).

2. Continue on 338 for approximately 10 miles.

3. Turn left at Risue Canyon Road (Forest Road # 050). Travel approximately seven miles on the unpaved road to Desert Creek Road.

4. Veer right at Desert Creek Road (Forest Road # 027) and travel another two miles to campground. The campground is on left hand side of road.
