The campsites at Rock Creek Lake sit on a low hill overlooking the lake with great views and a few trees. This 28 unit campground is a perfect location for limitless mountain recreation opportunities including fishing, camping, hiking and horseback riding at the nearby pack station.

Dogs on leash only. Maximum stay 7 days. Active bear area. All food must be secured overnight and when not attended, bear boxes are provided and must be used (typical bear box size 48" x 30" x 36"). Always keep a clean camp and do not feed wildlife. Fires permitted only in fireplaces provided.

Directions:
Directions from Mammoth Lakes: Drive south on US 395 for approximately 13 miles. Take the Tom's Place turnoff and proceed west up the canyon for about ten miles. Directions from Bishop: Travel north on US 395 for about 30 miles, turn left at the Tom's Place turnoff then proceed west up the canyon for about ten miles.
Parking:
Please note that parking can be 25 to 75 feet away from the individual campsite so your vehicle will not actually be "in" the campsite but rather adjacent or near to it.
