Bitterbrush is a popular campground in spring and fall as it is frequently below the snow line or just has minor amounts of snow. 30 campsites. Bearproof food storage containers available in the campground.

Restrictions:	Dogs on leash only. Maximum stay 14 days. Active bear area. All food must be secured overnight and when not attended, bear boxes are provided and must be used (typical bear box size 48" x 30" x 36"). Always keep a clean camp and do not feed wildlife.

Directions:

From Bishop go west on State Route 168 (Line Street) approximately 13 miles. The campground will be on your left (south) side of the road.

Parking:

Most sites will accommodate 2 vehicles or a trailer and the tow vehicle. For additional parking see the camp host or check rules posted on the bulletin board at the entrance.
