Mineral Point Trailhead #82
This is one of the most beautiful trails on the Sandpoint Ranger District and is popular with hikers and mountain bikers. Gentle grades, wildflowers and excellent views make this trail suitable for the entire family.
Constructed by volunteers and dedicated to the memory of Brent "Jake" Jacobson who gave his life in the line of duty as a Forest Service law enforcement officer.
This trail ends at Green Bay Campground on Lake Pend Oreille. There is a toilet, picnic tables and fire grills.

General Information
Directions:From Sandpoint, take Hwy. 95 south 6 miles to Sagle Road; turn left onto Sagle Road and go 9 miles to Garfield Bay; turn left on the first road past the public boat launch and go about ¼ mile to Mineral Point Road 532; turn right onto Road 532 and follow signs to the trailhead. Road 532 also provides access to Green Bay Campground Road 2672 and Lost Lake Trail 81.
