Jacob Lake picnic table & fire ring

Jacob Lake Picnic Site is located in the Jacob Lake Group Campground, 44 miles north of the Grand Canyon. The Jacob Lake area offers excellent opportunities for hiking, sightseeing, and wildlife viewing.

The site is located 30 miles south and east of Fredonia at the intersection of US 89A and AZ 67.

Current Conditions: Generally open mid-May to mid-October for overnight camping, depending on weather. For specific dates and group campground sites reservations contact Recreation.gov or call 877-444-6777.
Fees
  • Day use only
  • Per vehicle, per day (up to 5 persons) - $5
  • Per bus passenger, per day - $1
Jacob Lake Group Camp:
  • Group size 10 to 35 people - $85 per group per night
  • Group size 36 to 75 people - $130 per group per night
  • Group size 76 to 100 people - $160 per group per night
Reservations for campsites and the group campground sites (each of the two sites can hold up to 100 people) at Jacob Lake Campground can be made through the Recreation.gov website or via telephone at 877-444-6777.
Best Season: Late Spring to early Fall.
Water: Drinking water for daily personal use.
