General Information
Directions: To get to the Hickman Trailhead from U.S. Highway 165 in Ball, go north on U.S. Hwy 165 to Louisiana Highway 3130 and turn right (east). Travel on LA 3130 until it becomes a gravel road. Go left at the Y junction of FR 104 and FR 129 and take FR 129 to the trailhead sign on the left. Use caution while traveling on the paved portions of old Camp Livingston due to adjusting soil humps which have raised portions of the cement roads into what acts like speed bumps.
