Morgan Summit Snowmobile Park
Area Status: Open
Located 4 miles east of Mineral on Highway 36, Morgan Summit has 77 miles of groomed trails, a large parking area, restrooms and a warming hut. The Morgan Summit trail system can also be accessed from Mill Creek on Highway 172 and Mineral at the junction of Highways 36 and 172.
There are several loop trails that are considered easy, but the old jeep road to Turner Mountain can be difficult as the road is narrow. On a clear day you can see the Sacramento Valley, Sutter Buttes, Lake Almanor and Mt. Shasta from the Turner Mountain Lookout.
